Once a student leaves our program they must head to a specific, pre-determined destination (i.e. home, sports practice, YMCA program, parent pick-up). Please understand staff cannot confirm this with a child leaving the program. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their child is going to a safe location. Additionally, students may not loiter on the school or YMCA grounds after or instead of attending the program. About Our Staff
YMCA staff are trained to work with children. They are First Aid/CPR certified and have cleared fingerprint and background checks. Students who choose to attend the YMCA Rec program are required to participate in the activities provided that day for as long as they choose to attend the program. Our activities commonly take place in multipurpose rooms, outside on fields and on our basketball court. There will be daily organized games, arts & crafts and sports clinics.
