About Our Staff

Rancho Family YMCA takes pride in hiring the best people to fill our programming staff. Each leader was hand-selected through an extensive hiring process to ensure the safest environment for everyone. Staff training includes CPR and First Aid certification, transportation safety, behavior management and bully prevention, child protection and abuse prevention, field trip and off-site safety procedures, risk management/prevention and more.

About Our Program

Our program is a license-exempt, recreational program where students have the opportunity to engage in educational assistance, daily physical activities, STEM and literacy programming, along with building life skills and developing healthy relationships. As a recreational program, the Y does not assume full responsibility for care of children and parents/guardians remain responsible for their child(ren). This means students may choose not to attend our program and/or leave the program at any time. To ensure safety, we ask that families communicate in advance if you are planning for your child to not attend or to leave on their own. If a student chooses to leave without prior notice, our staff will contact the parent/guardian to inform them. Students are welcome and encouraged to stay for the duration of the program until picked up by an authorized adult.
