Resources for Subsidized Child Care Providers

At YMCA CRS, we are dedicated to supporting the success of child care providers in our Subsidized Child Care Program. To ensure you can fully benefit from our program, we have provided a list of the required enrollment documentation, access to the program guidelines, important resource websites, and instructions on completing Attendance Records.

Provider Enrollment

To enroll as a child care provider in a Subsidized Child Care Program, please have the parent contact their Family Advocate to start the enrollment process. A Provider Agreement Packet will be sent to you to complete and return. If you have any questions regarding the enrollment process or the Provider Agreement Packet please call (619) 521-3055 and ask to speak to a Provider Compliance Specialist.

The following information must be submitted to Provider Support Services:

Licensed Providers

  1. Completed provider enrollment forms (Provider Agreement Packet)
  2. Valid child care license
  3. Current rate sheet (must be typed)
  4. Provider-parent contractual terms (contract or policies)
  5. Social Security card or EIN letter from IRS
  6. INS or DHS card if required for validation of Social Security card
  7. Valid driver’s license or California identification card

Exempt Providers (Alternative Payment Only)

  1. ompleted provider enrollment forms (Provider Agreement Packet)
  2. Valid driver’s license or California identification card
  3. Social Security card
  4. For exempt relative providers (aunts, uncles, and grandparents only): birth certificates verifying relationship to the child(ren)
  5. For exempt non-relative providers (neighbor, friend, distant relative, or adult sibling to the child): complete Trustline Application and Fingerprinting

 

YMCA CRS cannot authorize child care until all documents are received and a start date is approved. We will not backdate reimbursement for child care services rendered before the approved start date.

CareConnect

Attendance Records will be available online and can be accessed through the CareConnect website within 24 hours of the family’s authorization of services.

CareConnect is a website that allows providers to download and print Attendance Records for their enrolled children, check the status of attendance records submitted for reimbursement, and view payment statements. Additionally, you have the option to digitally track attendance, manage invoices, and submit Attendance Records from your computer or mobile device. CareConnect is designed for your convenience.

Attendance RECORD Responsibilities

  1. Record actual start and end times daily.
  2. Use the middle section for additional time entries (e.g., school hours).
  3. Record any family fees collected at the bottom of the Attendance Record.
  4. Describe any child absences or schedule changes in the comments column.
  5. Indicate expected payment aligned with established rates for non-subsidized families.
  6. Ensure both parent and provider sign and date
  7. Use YMCA CRS approved Attendance Record
