Please be advised that the indoor pool at Copley-Price Family YMCA will be closed until Friday, December 5, for draining and replastering. The indoor pool will reopen on Saturday, December 6. Our outdoor pool will remain open during this time and you are welcome to use the aquatics facilities at any YMCA of San Diego County branches.

Our FacilitY
Dan McKinney Family YMCA features a spacious fitness center overlooking the ocean, two pools, splash pad, spa, sauna, preschool, gymnastics center, café and more.
POOLS, SPA & SPLASH PAD
Two heated pools (competition and recreational); spa and splash pad. Programming includes lap swim, water exercise classes, swim lessons, Masters and youth swim teams, family swim and more.
FITNESS CENTER
Our state-of-the-art wellness center features cardio equipment, outdoor workout area, circuit training, free weights and group fitness studios.
CAFÉ
Located in our lobby, enjoy coffee, juice, smoothies and small bites before or after your workout.
CHILD WATCH
While you exercise or relax at the Y, children ages 6 weeks to 12 years can play under the supervision of trained YMCA staff. Child Watch service is available to those with Community Plus family membership plans.
PATIO & MEMBER LOUNGE
Our patios and member lounge spaces offer a welcoming space for social gatherings, meetings and hanging out.
GYMNASTICS
The gymnastics center hosts classes and practices for toddlers to adults following USA Gymnastics–based skill progressions in a supportive environment that helps athletes grow stronger and advance at their own pace.
KITCHEN
Look for cooking demonstrations and classes at our kitchen. Adults and children gather here to prepare, taste, learn and enjoy delicious treats.
LOCKER ROOMS
Our clean, spacious locker rooms offer a comfortable place to get ready, refresh and unwind — so you can focus on feeling your best before and after every visit.
GROUP FITNESS STUDIOS
Members enjoy access to unlimited group fitness classes in two studios.
Preschool
Our licensed preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment for ages 2 to 5 years.

Dan McKinney Family YMCA is a place for belonging. When you walk through our doors, whether you’re headed in for a workout, a swim or an activity with your child, we want you to feel welcome and have a sense of goodness.
It’s our goal to provide high-quality experiences that allow people to focus on their personal well-being while connecting with others through shared experiences. We’re building community.
This Y is a unique resource. We’re here to respond to the needs and interests of the community with programming for cancer survivors, aging adults, injury recovery, adaptive support and more. Our Positive Youth Development approach encourages all children to reach their potential.
We raise funds to provide financial assistance to ensure access is available for all.
I’ve been a member of this Y since 2000. I joined the staff as a sports coordinator and grew into other roles around the county. I raised my two kids at this Y. We’ve done all the programs such as camps, sports, swimming and Adventure Guides.
I’ve made lifelong friendships and created wonderful memories. I returned to Dan McKinney Family YMCA in 2019 as Executive Director — truly a dream come true.
